Getting My MBA at 48

Sitting in Phoenix, AZ

I flew back into Phoenix, AZ from San Francisco, CA today and I am sitting at the airport waiting. Its okay, Beatriz the friend that lets me stay at their house, she is flying in from New York City and I’ll give her a ride back also.

After my day in Kona, HI we flew all night to Phoenix, I missed the 7:45 a.m. flight to San Francisco so I had to wait till 10:20 a.m. to leave. Getting in San Francisco at 12:30 p.m. Marilene was waiting at the gate for me and we drove home. After running around trying to get a few things done, Marilene and I decided to get lunch since we were both tired and did not want to cook.

After a nice lunch we headed back to the house, exhausted and are belly’s full. Mari had came in from Boston and I from Kona to Phoenix to San Francisco. We crashed on the couch, I got up after about 30 minutes to do laundry. I was very tried.

It was 7:30 p.m. Saturday night when I finally got the laundry finished. I had been up since 10:00 a.m. Friday with a couple of half hour naps.

Days like these are killers, there are things to take care of when you get home (I had not been there in 6 days) plus having to get ready to come back to Phoenix. Today I start 5 days of reserves, by the end of my reserves days I will be working 14 days straight. At the end of these 5 reserve days I will have only had 4 days off in the last 39 days.

Which add to the tiredness, and studying is a hard option. I am hoping that I don’t get called tonight to be able to work on my essays. Since my brain has rested and I will be able to focus

I am behind, and I feel pressure.
