Technology isn’t always grand but its always fun

It has been a long day sitting waiting to see if the phone will ring, work to call me in. I am very happy they choose to skip me tonight as I was able to finish MSP 1, case 2′s essay and correct the case 1′s essay.

Now I can start with the case 3 essay tomorrow, I feel better less pressure.

But I tried to use something new that WGU is using, Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro to connect with a mentor and other students an online meeting room. I must have done something wrong, because I was the only one there in the room. So I will email the mentor in the morning to see what went wrong and how I can be there for the next session.

After I finished, I took a break from the case studies, having spent 10 hours today working on my essay my brain is tired. I found a neat and fun way to view to your website, blog, or social network site you can even watch Hulu (I love Hulu‘s site) I get to watch show and movies for free it great when there is nothing on those 5 sports and 4 news channels that your hotel provides for you to watch in the room. Because most hotel rooms cable is terrible Hulu been a life saver. The plug in that I installed Cooliris works with Firefox and lets you view photos in a whole new way. They all seemed to load fast enough and was pretty neat. I need to add photos to this blog so I can install Cooliris.

I also downloaded and played an online game Guild Wars from the NCSOFT, this company has many games like Aion and Guild Wars that I got to download and try for free. Online games where you play against players from all over the world sure has gone way past pong.

Thank God I did not have games like this when I was young, I’d be hooked. I think that is why I have never played much. Because I would be so hooked on them it would probably be borderline obsessive.

I will put up a few screen shots of the NCSOFT games and the one I did while I was playing.

But today technology has come in many forms, even as I was ordering my text book of Marketing, there was the option that I could buy the hard copy and have it sent to me or buy a version to download and read it on my desktop. WOW

Text books online and for download sure beats carrying them all the time. I am sure here soon that the Universities text books will be able to be downloaded on devices like the Amazon Kindle. It sure would be easier on my back.

But hard to reference if there are no page numbers, have to check that out.
