Made it to San Francisco
After delays out of San Diego this morning only because of passengers numbers, we were 45 minutes late taking off, so I wasn’t able to catch the 8:45 a.m. flight to San Francisco.
So instead of 2 hour commute, I again had to wait 3 hours for the flight then the 2 hour flight. The first one had plenty of seats the second one only had a couple seats all middles.
The extra 3 hours has killed me, I am tired and have a splitting headache, I have been up again since 3:00 a.m.
I know things need to change, especially in motivation…
Some aspirin, then to writing and to bed early, we will see how it goes.
Sleeping in San Diego
Well I had the morning to be able to get some of my essay finished. The coffee shop closed at noon so I headed over to the Scottsdale Public Library.
Around 3:00 p.m. I got hungry so I left and headed back to my friends house, well I was there for less than an hour when scheduling called with a trip that reported in 2 hours. Great another trip where someone doesn’t want to work. I am so amazed at the amount of which flight attendants don’t wish to work. Mind you it is not all, a lot like to work but we have to have the highest average that don’t want to work.
So the trip…
One leg to San Diego one leg back in the morning, it is such a nice trip (joke) 9 hour layover means maybe 5-6 hours of sleep with a 5:15 a.m. report time for the van. Not much rest.
At least I got a good start on the essay, given another afternoon I could have it finished so I am hoping I will have the time.
But for now I am heading to bed hoping for a restful night of a few hours.
I Been Working on my Essay all Day
We got in early from Charlotte, since we didn’t have to go to Philadelphia today. Our flights were cancelled because of the snow back east.
I heard that there was a lot of cancelations today by all the airlines, plus many more delays at airports across the NorthEast. I’m glad that I got to avoid it all. Our flight was easy filled mostly non-revs that couldn’t get on other flights.
After getting back here I went got my haircut then straight to the coffee shop to study.
9 hours later I am just about to start my first draft. I need to get this done tonight but I am tired. I have been up since 1:30 a.m. Phoenix time so my brain is getting a little dead.
I got put on Stand-by C tomorrow, so at least I have the morning to work on the essay.
It is now pushing Midnight so I guess I need to quit get some sleep and start fresh in the morning.
Now I am Stressed
I am sitting here in Charlotte, I have been working on the Horizontal and Vertical Analysis all afternoon, I have got it all done and put it in the excel spreadsheet.
I am worried about one part, it is about numbers that are negative, I know what it says but what it doesn’t cover is when the results are negative. So I guess I am going to have to call the professor tomorrow.
Now I also got the results from my first essay, I screwed up. I thought it was suppose to be 2-3 pages NOT 2-3 pages per prompt (i.e. 4 reasons why eBay uses stock options) so I am missing quite a few pages.
This is killer, because I now have 13 days to finish 2 1/2 essays and 1 revision.
I need help.
I also know I shouldn’t have been on this trip, but I need the money. I guess I should have done my vacations differently I should have studied more in January instead of working. Because my February vacation did turn out the way I would like with studying.
Also all those skillsoft modules did not help me with these essays.
Really I don’t know what to do I only have 3 days off till these are all due.
A Day of Laundry and Horizontal and Vertical Analysis
As I thought, I have not been able to wake up today, (my body anyway) I feel exhausted.
After doing laundry this morning, I headed out to my favorite coffee shop Winfields because it is quiet and I feel I can trust the people around here, since it is a by a church.
I have now gotten the Horizontal Analysis done and started working on the Vertical Analysis, the company they are using for this class is Google, financial periods 1999 and 2000.
Four cups of coffee later, the lingerings of tired are still in my bones, but it is time to hit the books and Vertical Analysis.
Back in a few.
