Iris

A No Fly day

So after getting ready for work, and doing chores scheduling gives me Stand-by C, 3:00p.m.-3:00 a.m. Great now I don’t have to fly in to Phoenix tonight.

So after a quick 45 minute nap to recharge the batteries, I started doing more chores things I have needed to get done.

Though I would like to study, and which I should study this is a chance to get so extra things done that I normally would be flying into Phoenix.

I also started doing some extra research, I know like I don’t have enough things going on already but research is fun keeps the mind active.

I also have this handy little program that converts and scanned document into a usable word document. Read Iris, which is just a fabulous tool they also have a scan pen Iris Pen 6, which I also have that has helped me so much with notes, I don’t need to highlight just use the pen and it scans right into Word.

Which I think will be very helpful to students everywhere. Have a scanned document, convert it to text then save a PDF, send it to an eReader of your choice. Hopefully mine will be the iPad  by Apple when it comes out.

Take it with you and read, my back is so happy. I love book truly do but try carrying around textbooks and other reading material, my bag for books must weigh 40 pounds. Ouch!

Plus all the other stuff I need to take with me on my trips, I really live most of my days these past years in a suitcase, more so because of being back on reserves and commuting.

It is getting late and I need to get some sleep so I can get up and take the 9:00 a.m. flight to Phoenix.
