Resume Studying Instead of Accounting

My mind goes to the book “Nudge”, by authors Richard H. Thaler and Cass R. Sunstein, about the events that have happened today. I feel as though life is nudging me. With the education, the events that have happened at work, my health and mental well being.

Life is nudging, I am starting to feel it, look for it, and move with it. A sense, a drive, a purpose.

After my flight today I was not at all thrilled with the conversation with my supervisor today, so I went to the coffee shop to sit and think, read, and study. Yet as I was reading I started looking at job postings on Google, Apple, American Airlines, Virgin America, and Southwest Airlines as I was looking I found some good prospects, but it occurred to me I really needed to fix, update and enhance my resume.

So off I went to Borders, after many hours there I decided on 3 different books. I will tell you about them a little later.

I wanted to tell you about the very nice flight attendants I was flying with, I could easily fly many trip with these 2 women. One was telling me of a Dear Abby story, where this guy writes in and wants to become a doctor. He says to Abby, “It will take 8 years to become a doctor and by that time I’ll be 38 years old.” Dear Abby writes back saying, “In 8 years if you don’t become a doctor you will still be 38 years old.”

Which is great advice, you are never to old to go after your dreams, because if you don’t try time will still march on.

I need to take a short break…
